Pole dance satisfactions

15 Jun

Pole dance satisfactions.

Satisfaction for more than 2600 visits to my Italian Pole Dance Blog in less than two months since I first started it.

Satisfaction for my first interview by Corriere del Veneto as the first Pole Dance teacher in Veneto (Italy).

Satisfaction for the time spent smiling and having fun with my girls I have been teaching to for only four lessons but it seems to me like I know them all since I was born.

Satisfaction for my girls telling me they’re are so happy with my pole dance lessons and that I’m so good at it.

Satisfaction for teaching others pole dance after only 1o months self-teaching.

Satisfaction for people seeing me dance for the first time and telling me” when you dance you are so damn hypnotic“.

Satisfaction for inverting on a street pole or on a bus pole before people getting on.

Satisfaction for a 3,5 m high cross knee release on a 45 mm pole I’ve never danced on or never seen before.

Satisfaction for beeing called to take part in a sociological research on pole dance.

Satisfaction for first pole dance lesson reservation by a girl coming to Italy from United States.

Satisfaction is this and all is coming next.

Pole dance is filling my life with joy and satisfaction.
I’m being recognized as a professional pole dancer and pole dance teacher.

Thank you for following me on my blogs!!

Pole dance classes: me and (some of) my girls!

10 Jun

Here are some of my girls I’m teaching pole dance to.  It’s just the beginning but they are so enthusiastic on that!

It’s really true: pole dance is fitness and fun.

This picture was taken after I was interviewed for an important local paper (Corriere del Veneto) as I am the first pole dance teacher in my region (Veneto). Improvisation of course, because I could never imagine media were so soon interested in me; that’s why we had no time to prepare or dress up.

So this is how (happy) we are when we practice at the Studio. We’re really impatient and can’t wait to see us on a newspaper!

NewVid: Unexpected pole-to-wall-to-floor dismount

Surprising wall-to-floor dismount from a ckr (cross knee release) during a pole dance practice.
I felt like an alien!

Pole dance & write with your heels

1 Jun

Believe it or not pole dancing requires study.

When you are ready to start be sure you have paper, pen and then your favourite pair of heels.

This evening it’s rest day and I’m here trying to order my thoughts and my notes as well.

Yes, my pole dance notes.

Pole dance is understanding movements, identifying points of contact btw skin and pole, isolating engaged muscles and learn how to control them all. Pole dance is reasoning, logic, control.

On my table plenty of papers where I took notes after my international workshop with Miss Austin. A kind of uncategorized wishlist, moves to learn, moves to try; moves I’ll categorize and teach  myself and then  my girls.

A reasoned moves-spin-tricks list sounding like  a coreography, that, I know,  I’m not going to follow.

Study is good but improvisation is better.

So, believe me, learn first and then dance.

Feel the music and let yourself go. You’re ready to pole.

Pole dance iguana mount: nothing is impossible

31 May

When I first started pole dancing, as I already wrote somewhere here in my blog, I thought “No, I can’t. This will be just for fun“.

It wouldn’t be true.

During the first month everyhing was difficult: I wasn’t able to pull up, I wasn’t able to spin smoothly, after 15 minutes I was out of breath , I had hand soreness and a pain all over my body.

Look what I can do now, after a 10-month self-taught trainining.
Incredible.

I looooove my pole.

Dancing company

13 May

Always pole dance in good company. The company of someone you feel comfortable with, someone who won’t dare to say a word about what you’re making or how you’are making it, someone you can trust and keep your pole dancing secrets.

Always choose someone who will appreciate your goals, understand your efforts, and therefore rest with you.

Thank you Nonno Mao!

Practice makes perfect

13 May

It’s the case of pole dancing but of writing your own blog as well!
I’m trying to bulid and keep it similiar to my Italian blog page.
Good luck Aryanna.

Curiosity

29 Apr

Here is today’s curiosity.

So difficult working on wordpress!

29 Apr

It takes so much time.. Thinking of how to speed posting and blog setting.

Hello world!

21 Apr

Hello there!

This is an experiment. I’m trying to keep track of pole dancing progress both as a dancer and as a teacher.

This is an international blog which goes together with an Italian blog. I’ll try to keep both of them uptodate, writing same posts, talking about same topics and feelings.

But, as you know, writing a diffferent language is thinking a different way.

That’s why I guess the two blogs will follow different lines. That’s all for now.
